The level acts as a prequel to the main game events and supports players as a younger version of the older NPC Dosan as he works to ensure tattoo bleaching which one day will give the main character's main character his powers. One major game setup in Mark of the Ninja Remastered is a brand new optional level called Dosan's Tale. Still, it's nice to see that Klei made sure the game would be soft even when he was playing on the move. Given, Mark of the Ninja's high quality presentation is not very surprising, given how little excitement its 2D graphics add to a given platform.

When talking about which, the entire base gaming experience can be played on the portable port with flawless design. Klei took the time to restore many of the kinematics, and add in new visual and plot details that better help convey the game's history. The character sprites, background art and kinematics have also been touched up.

Klei went back and raised the game's resolution to make it look less compressed and make sure it's full 4K HD compatible. Most upgrades included in Mark of the Ninja Remastered are of the visual sorting.

The remastered upgrade does not contain much in the way of concrete new content, but at least Mark of the Ninja is worth revising, especially if you have not played it since the debut in 2012.
I've now played the Nintendo Switch version of Mark of the Ninja Remastered, I can safely say it's an excellent port of an already excellent game.
